What do you find mysterious?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for June 16, 2008:
that somehow the whole united states of america finds it impossible to get together 280,000USD to build an earthship in new orleans and educate the people there to build earthships and thus solve their unemployment + housing crisii.
i just cant understand it.

I reckon the reason is the exact opposite of getting a choir of blind-since-birth people and getting them to sing “I can sing a rainbow” with authentic feeling…..
